Yesterday I got to start my morning off with an extra dose of baby goodness. Baby T is 6 months old now and he couldn't have been sweeter. I certainly hope I get to see this little man again!

I'm excited to annouce that Smith Digital Photography is now a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).



The PPA is an awesome resource to continually learn from industry leaders and keep up with the lastest photography news and trends. I'm proud to be a part of such a respected organization.

If there is one thing I love about being a photographer, it's being able to take photos of people I care about and feeling as though I really captured their "essence" - that's what I love about these photos. They are so "Celia."

Celia is a good friend of mine who moved here from Texas a few years ago. We love comparing "did-you-ever-hear-of-this-before-you-moved-here" stories, talking military life, and reminiscing about our Southern Baptist upbringings. I think she is the true definition of what a classy woman should be. I <3 you, C!

Aside from getting some fun, colorful shots, we had a great time last night scouting locations, dodging bumble bees, and using our "America's Next Top Model" modeling jargon. :)

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing another beautiful family. 5-year old Gage was the perfect little model for me. He followed directions and added in his own fun ideas like a champ! Sweet baby Kellis did his part to sleep, coo, and inspire me with his big beautiful blue eyes. Thanks for any awesome day, N family!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking photos of two of the sweetest little girls on the planet, Abby & Emma. After only a minor thunderstorm set back, we ended up having a beautiful afternoon at the park. I look forward to taking photos of these cuties in the future and watching them grow!

I've been taking tons of pictures of Caleb lately. I seem to go through spurts, but lately, I just can't get enough of him. There is something so overwhelmingly blissful about being a mother. His smiling face and funny expressions completely melt my heart on a daily basis.
